· Consulting advisory concerning environmental issues in the scope of the new national strategic plan for municipal solid waste
· Study of municipal solid waste sampling and sample preparation representativity for chemical characterization
· Study of biogenic and biodegradable content in waste materials
· Team member of several Sci.& Tech. Coop. projects within Waste Management areas;
· Secretariat of Portuguese technical committee on the standardization of Solid Recovered Fuels and Solid Biofuels (CT172, ONS/IST);
