EDUCATION
Undergraduate Level
Academic staff is involved in the teaching activities of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico, DEQB/IST, namely at the Bachelors three years degree and Master two year degree in Environmental Engineering and in the integrated masters in Biological Engineering and in Chemical Engineering (five years degree).
Graduate Level
Faculty members are also engaged in the teaching and Supervision of Thesis leading to the doctorate degree (3rd cycle in terms of the Bologna nomenclature). Post - Graduate students, working at ENVERG, play a major role in the services activities and in the supervision of the Ph.D. candidates:
Ph.D. projects, based on the research topics of ENVERG, are offered in the areas of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology and Environmental Engineering.
Industrial and Post-doctoral Level
Short, intensive courses are regularly offered to the industrial community. These courses provide training in topics related to Biotechnology, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
Opportunities are available for post-doctoral associates and industrial personnel to integrate the R&D activities of ENVERG. Most of the research projects involve active cooperation with national and/or European industrial companies.
